Founded in 1922, CTC includes iconic banners and businesses such as Canadian Tire, SportChek, Mark’s, PartSource, Gas+, Triangle Rewards, Canadian Tire Financial Services, and CT REIT, supported by a national network of retail and gasoline outlets and tens of thousands of people across Canada.

As the AVP, Triangle Digital, you will lead the strategy, development and delivery of digital experiences that support the Triangle loyalty program and create value for customers across Canadian Tire’s businesses. You will be accountable for shaping a clear digital vision, translating enterprise priorities into an actionable roadmap and ensuring that customer-facing experiences are simple, connected and engaging. Leading a team of digital product professionals, you will work closely with partners across Loyalty, Technology, Canadian Tire Bank, Lifecycle Marketing, Data and Analytics, and Store Operations to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes while building strong product management capabilities across the organization.

What you will do:
  • Lead, coach and develop the Triangle Digital team, establishing clear accountabilities and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, customer focus and consistent delivery.
  • Set the vision, strategy and multi‑year roadmap for Triangle’s digital experiences and capabilities, aligned with broader loyalty and enterprise priorities.
  • Translate business priorities, customer needs and market opportunities into clear product plans, investment choices and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of customer‑facing digital products and journeys across relevant channels and touchpoints.
  • Ensure digital experiences provide a consistent and compelling expression of the Triangle value proposition and support customer engagement, loyalty and growth.
  • Partner with Loyalty, Technology, Canadian Tire Bank, Lifecycle Marketing, Data and Analytics, Store Operations and other business teams to align priorities, clarify ownership, manage dependencies and deliver integrated experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key partners, influencing decisions and creating alignment around the digital agenda.
  • Use customer insights, market trends, data and experimentation to guide priorities, improve experiences and strengthen business performance.
  • Establish clear performance measures and regularly assess progress, customer outcomes, operational health and the value delivered by the portfolio.
  • Lead annual and quarterly portfolio planning, prioritization, budgeting and resource allocation, balancing strategic investment with near‑term business needs.
  • Provide oversight of delivery, proactively addressing risks, capacity constraints and cross‑functional dependencies that may affect outcomes.
  • Ensure digital products meet appropriate standards for quality, security, privacy, accessibility, reliability and responsible customer data use.
  • Strengthen product management practices, governance and ways of working to improve decision‑making, accountability and speed to value.
  • Represent Triangle Digital with senior leaders and key stakeholders, clearly communicating strategy, priorities, progress, performance, risks and decisions required.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, design or a related field; an advanced degree is an asset.
  • Significant progressive leadership experience in digital product management, digital commerce, loyalty or a related customer‑focused field.
  • Proven experience setting strategy and leading customer‑facing digital products, portfolios and cross‑functional teams at scale.
  • Experience with Epsilon or a comparable enterprise loyalty platform is preferred, with a strong understanding of loyalty technology and its integration across digital channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate enterprise priorities into practical roadmaps, investment plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen, including experience with portfolio planning, budgeting and resource prioritization.
  • Strong understanding of digital product development, customer experience, modern delivery practices and data‑informed decision‑making.
  • Experience working across business and technology teams in a complex organization with shared priorities and accountabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and build high‑performing teams through growth, change and evolving business needs.
  • Excellent communication, judgment and influence skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and build alignment among senior stakeholders.
  • A strong customer focus and passion for creating simple, connected and valuable digital experiences.
