Canadian Tire Corporation seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President to lead Merchandising Platforms, focusing on pricing, promotions and merchandise planning. You will partner with Customer Strategy, Analytics and Merchandising to drive an enterprise roadmap aligning price accuracy, speed to market, and platform resilience.

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and delivery-focused Assistant Vice President (AVP) to lead our Merchandising Platforms portfolio, with a focus on pricing, promotions and merchandise planning. This role serves as the senior technology partner to the Customer Strategy, Analytics and Merchandise Planning and Merchandising portfolios. The portfolio spans Canadian Tire enterprise banners, and includes some of the enterprise’s most complex, highly visible and Dealer-impacting programs: transforming legacy pricing platforms, delivering a new enterprise Pricing & Promotions Engine, and expanding AI-enabled pricing capabilities across banners. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in retail merchandising and pricing systems, a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-vendor transformations, and the executive presence to lead with confidence through ambiguity.
Manage multiple concurrent, highly interdependent programs across pricing, promotions and merchandising, sequencing releases, environments and store rollouts to protect business continuity. Leverage best practices in agile and hybrid delivery models to drive transparency, velocity, and continuous improvement. Monitor and manage program KPIs, health metrics, and risks, escalating proactively through steering committees, the Dealer Working Group and executive forums. Ensure all Merchandising and pricing platforms comply with relevant regulations, standards, controls and best practices.
