Job summary

State Street seeks an AVP, Full Stack Data Scientist to design and deliver innovative analytics solutions for Corporate Audit. You will work across data pipelines, ML/GenAI models and front-end interfaces while aligning with governance standards.

You will collaborate with business partners to prioritize initiatives, manage delivery across multiple projects, and strengthen the audit lifecycle with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of experience with advanced Python (ML, NLP, AI) and SQL is required.
• Experience integrating data with database environments and 2+ years hands-on with front-end technologies is required.
• Relevant work experience at a financial services company and/or in Risk/Control is a plus.
• Experience with HTML, React, or visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities for Corporate Audit and deliver innovative data products.
• Work on Proof-of-Concepts, design and develop tools to support assurance and automation objectives.
• Design interactive, user-centric front-end interfaces, build data pipelines and create ML/GenAI models.
• Develop, implement and document IT/model governance aligned with best practices and bank standards.
• Act as a liaison between Corporate Audit and other departments to share knowledge on analytics and automation initiatives.
