Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and testing avionics systems in accordance with aircraft maintenance manuals and other approved technical or regulatory documents. You will also assist in the installation of new avionics upgrades.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and test avionics systems following aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Assist in the installation of new avionics upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory documents.
  • Collaborate with team members in a team-based work environment.
Essential Skills
  • 5 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical, navigation, communication, and flight controls systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, installation and wire harness.
  • AME-E license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience on corporate aircraft, De Havilland DHC 8 series, and CL415 / 215 aircraft is an asset.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as required.
  • Availability to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations or short periods for offsite installations.
  • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
