Job summary

SOGECLAIR seeks an Avionics Systems DAD to lead development, testing and certification of avionics for state-of-the-art business aircraft in a Montreal setting. You will manage system integration across AFCS, communications, navigation, displays and maintenance systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires familiarity with TCCA/EASA/FAA guidance and DO-178/DO-254/ARP4754/AR P4761, plus strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Current or candidate-for DAD/DAR status preferred and knowledge of Transport Canada AWM 505.

Responsibilities

• Perform development, testing, certification, production and in-service support of avionics systems for business aircraft.
• Support system integration, requirements management, certification planning and compliance reporting.
• Witness or participate in certification tests, inspections and audits; ensure airworthiness per regulations.
