Job summary

Mid-Canada Mod Center in Breslau, Ontario is seeking experienced avionics installation professionals to join our team. You will work hands-on with advanced aircraft systems, adhere to regulatory and safety standards, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include following company procedures, reading wiring diagrams, performing tasks with the proper tools, and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • AME E Transport Canada license or related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of technical avionics experience.
  • Experience with electrical systems, navigation, and flight controls is asset.
  • Lift up to 25 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to travel for AOG recovery and offsite installations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with regulatory requirements and company manuals.
  • Accurate completion of paperwork according to procedures and manuals.
  • Use proper tools and methods for safe aircraft maintenance.
  • Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams.
  • Complete assigned work tasks as directed by the Production/Program Manager.
  • Report unsafe or non-compliant conditions to the Production/Program Manager.

Job description

At Mid-Canada Mod Center, we are always looking for skilled, talented aviation professionals to join our team. We offer an exciting opportunity to work hands‑on with some of the most interesting technology and aircraft in the aviation market.

We are looking for experienced, detail‑oriented professionals to support our avionics installation team in Breslau, Ontario. This role requires strong technical aptitude, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and comply with the regulatory requirements and the requirements of the Company manuals.
  • Accurate completion of all paperwork in accordance with required procedures, manuals, and other documentation.
  • Employ the proper tools, equipment, methods, and techniques required to perform safe aircraft maintenance.
  • Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams.
  • Accomplish all work tasks and other duties as assigned by the production/ Program Manager.
  • Report any unsafe or non‑compliant work conditions or practices to the Production/ Program Manager.
Qualifications
  • Current or in‑progress AME “E” Transport Canada license or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in avionics or related fields.
  • Experience in electrical systems, navigation, and flight controls is considered an asset.
  • Ability to life to 25kg and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights.
  • Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Must be available to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations (or short periods of time for offsite installations).
  • Experience with all De Havilland Aircraft of Canada products consider an asset.
