Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Avionics & Communication IPT Head to lead cross-functional avionics teams and drive aircraft-level system development, integration, and certification. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in avionics architecture, aircraft NPD programs, IPT leadership, system integration, and certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Avionics & Communication IPT and manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, technical performance, and milestones.
• Coordinate systems, hardware, software, V&V, certification, electrical, and integration engineering teams.
• Define and manage avionics architecture covering VHF/UHF, SATCOM, data links, GNSS, INS, navigation, flight control, and monitoring systems.
• Drive system-level trade studies, architecture decisions, requirements, and interface definitions.
• Lead LRU and aircraft-level avionics integration and support HIL/SIL, ground testing, and flight testing.
• Ensure compliance with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, and DO-254.
• Develop/review SRD, ICD, architecture documents, compliance matrices, test plans, and certification artifacts.
• Support FAA, EASA, and DGCA certification activities and interface with certification authorities and DERs/ARs.
• Manage technical risks, configuration management, engineering changes, and cross-IPT dependencies.
• Lead distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams and support proposals/RFQs.

Required Skills

• 10 18+ years of Aerospace / Aviation experience.
• Avionics Systems Development and Aircraft NPD experience.
• Strong IPT / cross-functional team leadership.
