NAV CANADA is seeking a Technical Services Technologist Trainee in Montreal to provide electronic maintenance on complex ANS systems, gaining hands-on experience in a safety‑critical environment. This on‑site role requires bilingual English/French capabilities and a strong foundation in engineering technology or computer science.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent and a recognized diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent, completed within the last 10 years at a minimum
• A valid driver’s license
• Some lifting required
• Good communicators, team players, customer service focus, creative thinkers with problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Understand NAV CANADA’s core business and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Provides electronic maintenance services on complex systems and equipment essential to the provision of a safe and reliable Air Navigation System (ANS).
• Performs related duties for the designated area of responsibility.
• Support and maintain critical systems required to keep air traffic moving safely and efficiently.
• Join a team across Canada to keep navigation, surveillance, communications, and air traffic management systems up and running.
