Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Civil 3D Designer (Aviation) to shape Canada’s airport infrastructure. You will lead complex design efforts, develop advanced Civil 3D models and coordinate among civil, structural, electrical and environmental teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

You will mentor junior designers, apply industry standards, and collaborate with clients to ensure cost-effective, safe and efficient airport projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree or diploma in civil engineering or related field.
• Significant experience with Autodesk Civil 3D on aviation projects.
• Ability to lead design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Civil 3D models, drawings and design packages for aviation projects.
• Deliver airside and landside design solutions including runways, taxiways and aprons.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil, structural, electrical and environmental work.
• Ensure technical design quality meets airport standards and client requirements.
• Mentor junior designers and technologists to promote growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Champion digital delivery practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
