Job summary

AVI-SPL, a leading AV integration company in Montreal, seeks a technical consultant to translate customer requirements into functional system designs and generate drawings and acoustical models. You will review pre-construction docs and assist with engineering design, pricing, and logistics for projects.

The role requires AV experience, AMX/Crestron programming capability, strong communication, and the ability to travel to various job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; electronics education preferred.
• AV experience: 1–2 years with a four-year degree; or five years+ without a degree.
• Formal electronics/related field education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into functional system designs
• Develop engineering drawings and acoustical modeling
• Review pre-construction design and documentation
• Provide material and labor estimates for projects
• Travel to various job sites as required
• Vendor liaison for product evaluation and post-sale support
