Job summary

CS Group Canada is a leader in safety-critical systems for aerospace, electric, and autonomous driving sectors. We seek an engineer to validate performance requirements, refine KPIs, and develop tools for large-scale simulation and real-world data analysis to advance system safety.

The role focuses on latency budgets, safety thresholds, and checker maturation, while enabling scalable validation and robust software integration within CI/CD pipelines. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Experience validating and quantifying performance for autonomous driving functions and datasets.
• Production-quality software development in C/C++ and/or Python; CI/CD and automated validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain simulation tooling in C/C++ and Python for large-scale autonomous driving validation.
• Design interfaces between validation tools, simulation environments, and data processing frameworks.
• Extend simulation scenarios to inject perception noise, latency, and failure conditions.
• Support containerized development and deployment with Docker and Linux-based infrastructure.
• Evaluate safety mechanisms under degraded system performance; refine requirements and thresholds.
• Develop Python- and C/C++-based pipelines to process and visualize large driving datasets.
