Qualifications

• Licensed / Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• 4 years of automotive experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and required skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle.
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles.
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to specifications.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services.
• Advising customers on work performed and future repair needs.
• Maintaining service equipment.
• Supporting customer relationships.

You will get to :

• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction on a customers vehicle
• Performing appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency
• Completing approved service on customer vehicles
• Testing and adjusting vehicle systems to manufacturers performance specifications
• Performing scheduled maintenance service such as oil changes lubrications and tune ups.
• Advising customers and associates on work performed general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
• Maintaining mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
• Supporting customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

What does it take to get on track

• Licensed / Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade
• 4 years of automotive experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to our customers
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology
• The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience
• Ability to maintain a valid drivers license and provide a satisfactory drivers abstract from province of residence on an annual basis
