Job summary

South Trail Chrysler in Calgary, AB is seeking a skilled experienced mechanic for our service team. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, brakes, suspensions and alignments while maintaining logs for warranty work.

Qualifications

• Must have journeyperson/red seal certification (Alberta CVIP asset)
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles' mechanical issues
• Perform regular maintenance, brakes, suspension and alignments
• Identify, resolve electrical and media system malfunctions
• Maintain a clean workspace in line with safety guidelines
• Keep logbook documented for warranty repairs
• Diesel experience is an asset but not required

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and repair vehicles mechanical issues
• Perform regular maintenance, brakes, suspension and alignments etc.
• Identify, resolve electrical, media system malfunctions
• Maintaining a clean workspace environment according to industry standards and safety guidelines
• Keeping logbook documented for warranty repairs
• Diesel experience considered an asset but not required

Requirements:

• Minimum 1year journeyperson/red seal certification (out of province, cvip certification is an asset but not required)
• Solid understanding of automotive operating systems - experience with CDK is an asset
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid Alberta drivers license and clean record
