Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (Red Seal) to join our Port Coquitlam shop. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, and assist with minor body work, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certificate in Automotive Service Technician.
• Minimum of five years of automotive service experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, fuel, ignition, emission systems, drivetrain components, and HVAC systems.
• Experience reading automotive schematics and using diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comply with workplace safety standards, including the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program.
• Valid BC driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct road tests following safe driving practices.
