Job summary

A local automotive service provider in Canada is seeking a skilled technician to adjust and repair parts of commercial transport truck systems. The ideal candidate needs at least a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in automotive service. Responsibilities include road testing vehicles and performing maintenance services. This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
