Job summary

Auto Electric Service is seeking a mid-level automotive service technician to join our Service Department in Canada. You will perform brake, steering, suspension, and bolt-on repairs, complete DVIs, and road tests, while maintaining quality workmanship in a busy shop.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on repair experience, strong mechanical skills, and a valid driver's license. We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, a professional team, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred.
• Automotive Service Technician certification is an asset
• Strong mechanical and repair skills
• Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, and bolt-on components
• Ability to work with speed without compromising quality
• Able to work independently in a busy shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical judgment
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to teamwork
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to continue developing technical skills

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, steering, and suspension repairs
• Replace shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links, and other components
• Perform wheel bearing, hub, exhaust, and other bolt-on repairs
• Complete tire services, maintenance, and fluid services
• Perform general mechanical repairs and inspections
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Perform road tests to verify repairs
• Follow manufacturer specifications and proper repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Auto Electric Service is looking for a skilled, motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department.

We are looking for a productive, mechanically capable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can complete common repairs with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
