Job summary

Go Auto in Peace River, AB, is hiring a fully qualified Automotive Service Technician with Red Seal certification. The role involves diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems across multiple makes, and performing routine maintenance with OEM tools.

We require 5+ years of experience and fluent English. Starting date is ASAP; full-time, permanent position with benefits and an hourly wage of $50 for 30–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• 5+ years automotive experience required.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic and computerized systems on a range of makes using OEM diagnostic equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids) per manufacturer specs.
• Repair and adjust engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, fuel, cooling, exhaust and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical components using computerized tools and install replacement parts.
• Complete warranty, recall and TSB repairs per procedures.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure safety and performance.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.

We are looking for a well-experienced Automotive Service Technician for our company, Go Auto, located at 9902 74 St, Peace River, AB T8S 0A8, Canada

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic and computerized systems on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and other makes and models using OEM diagnostic equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, brake inspections, tire services, fluid replacement, and other manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
• Repair, replace, and adjust engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking, fuel, cooling, exhaust, and HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic components using computerized diagnostic tools, and install and test replacement parts to verify proper operation.
• Perform warranty, recall, and technical service bulletin (TSB) repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership procedures.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to identify defects, verify repairs, and ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance.
• Complete accurate repair orders and service documentation, and communicate technical findings and repair recommendations to service advisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while complying with manufacturer standards, workplace safety regulations, and dealership quality procedures.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 5+ years of experience, or equivalent, in the relevant field.

Hourly Rate: $50 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
