Job summary

Family Motors in Kitchener, ON is seeking an automotive service technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing maintenance, and repairing automotive systems in a on-site shop.

You will inspect, repair, and test components, discuss findings with supervisors, and advise customers on recommended work. Minimum 2 years' experience and a secondary school graduation certificate are required. Wage is $37.00 per hour with 35 hours per week.

  • 2–3 years of experience in automotive service.
  • English language proficiency.

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems

  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
