Job summary

Tichi Auto Repairs is seeking volunteers for on-site automotive maintenance and repair duties at our Edmonton location. You will work 35–40 hours per week, earning 37.50 CAD per hour, with starts as soon as possible and potential for multiple vacancies.

This role is a permanent on-site opportunity requiring basic automotive skills and a willingness to learn under supervision. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing automotive systems, providing customer service, and documenting work

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive maintenance (1–2 years) desirable.
• Education in trades with a certificate or diploma.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or C)

Area of specialization: Engine repair, Diagnostics, Alignment, steering and suspension, Brake system, Hydraulic system, Fuel and emission system, Ignition and electrical system, Automatic transmission, Standard transmission, Engine repair and overhaul, Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
