The Automotive Mechanical Payables – Alberta, reporting to the PP & Mechanical Claims Manager – Alberta, is based in Sherwood Park. The Automotive Mechanical Payables ensures that dealers and repair centers are paid accurately and within an expedient timeline.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Print all invoices from incoming designated email.
  • Review invoices for key words that may make a claim non‑eligible for payment and forward to management for review.
  • Ensure all required supplement information has been received; if not, return email or fax is sent to the dealership requesting the pertinent information.
  • Ensure the parts, labor, sublets, etc. amounts are entered in a payable field that match to the authorization.
  • Any payments that are short‑paid require a form letter to the dealership explaining any differences.
  • Print daily payable recap reports.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma is required.
  • Accounting background, or a related field is required.
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.
  • Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
  • Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.
  • Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, education verification, and employment reference checks is required before employment.
