Job summary

Belron Canada Inc. is seeking an Automotive Glass Technician in Canada, with a focus on delivering high-quality windshield repair and replacement using industry-leading tools. You will perform ADAS camera recalibrations and ensure adherence to company standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace windshields with industry-leading tools.

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

• You will play a key role in the customer experience by repairing or replacing their windshield with the utmost skill and care using our industry-leading tools
• Perform recalibrations of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) front camera
• Consistently meet or exceed Speedy Glass® technical standards in the installation of vehicle glass and other products, and ensure that the company’s quality and other procedures are complied with
• Adhere to and enforce Belron® International technical standards and work procedures for door, window and windshield repair and replacement
• Ensure proper tool maintenance
• Consistently and strictly adhere to company Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided
• Ensure that you work within company productivity targets
• Represent the interests of the customer in dealing with our internal procedures, including promptly providing customer feedback and keeping customers informed of the work process being carried out
• Seek and identify all opportunities to increase sales (add on products) and further develop our business opportunities
• Always display a high level of professionalism; Exercise strong attention to detail in order to add value wherever you can
• Foster genuine relationships with your customers and fellow team members

WHAT YOU’LL NEED – YOUR PROFILE

• Be eager and motivated to learn
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, if needed
• Have a valid Class 5 or Class G license (Class 7 Novice, or G2 are not considered full driver’s license)
• Be able to drive company vehicle to complete the tasks independently at the client’s site, where required
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Direct experience in the automotive glass repair and replacement industry is an asset
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Results oriented team player with ability to multi task
• Good problem solving and communication skills
• Be available to work a flexible schedule
• Be willing to work at different Belron Canada locations near your home, when required
