Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

The role focuses on washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting and preparing a variety of vehicles for customer rentals, to meet high cleanliness and safety standards. Schedule requires weekday and weekend shifts as listed; compensation is CAD 18.65 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including insurance and retirement savings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers.
• Must be able to work one of the listed schedules (Mon–Sun) except religious observances.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior including cars, vans and trucks.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors per industry protocols.
• Check fuel level, warning lights, windshield for damage, and secure/clear prior customer data.
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, and exterior damage; report safety concerns.
• Fuel and stage vehicles; maintain a clean, orderly work area and assist customers as needed.

Monday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesdsay: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Wednesday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Saturday: 7:00am - 12:00pm

Sunday: 12:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assists customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches
• Helps maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities to include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location

Additional Responsibilities

• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
