Job summary

Land Rover Brossard is seeking an Automotive Detailer to professionally clean vehicles and prepare them for display and delivery. You will follow detailed work specifications and complete tasks within the timeframes set by the estimate and management.

Responsibilities include exterior washing, interior detailing, waxing, vacuuming, fabric and leather care, engine cleaning, decal management, and keeping the workshop organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Wash the exterior of vehicles, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe door jambs
• Apply wax to vehicle bodies and wipe or polish surfaces using non-abrasive products
• Vacuum vehicle interiors to remove dust and debris
• Clean upholstery, carpets, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaners, applicators, and cleaning equipment
• Apply conditioners and protective treatments to vinyl and leather interior surfaces, and treat fabrics with stain-resistant chemicals
• Clean engines and engine compartments using specialized cleaning equipment and products
• Apply specialized cleaning agents designed to remove contaminants that regular cleaning methods cannot eliminate
• Inspect vehicles for visible defects such as dents, scratches, and tears in upholstery
• Wear appropriate safety equipment to protect the eyes, hands, and body when handling hazardous products
• Apply tire dressing to tires and sidewalls
• Ensure the appropriate decals and stickers are displayed on vehicle windows
• Remove any unnecessary decals or stickers from vehicles
• Remove snow from vehicles located on the dealership lot
• Position and organize vehicles on the dealership lot
• Install wheel covers/hubcaps
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop
• Use all tools and equipment safely and carefully
