Job summary

A leading specialty vehicle assembly company in Ontario is seeking technicians to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis. Candidates will work under a Senior Composite Technician, involving tasks like building sub-assemblies, structural bonding of composite components, and ensuring quality control. This role offers hands-on experience with high-performance vehicles, a dynamic team environment, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Comfortable and competent using common hand and power tools.
• Able to read and interpret workshop manuals.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and instruction.
• Experience in composite material construction is an asset.
• Experience in light fabrication is an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Must be organized and work safely, following all safety procedures.
• Building sub-assemblies following supplied manuals.
• Structural bonding of major composite components.
• Fitting and assembly of carbon fiber components to tight tolerances.
• Identifying quality issues as they arise.
• Problem solving as necessary.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
