Job summary

Overview

Imperial Collision Centre is seeking an experienced licensed Automotive Collision Technician.

Responsibilities
  • Frame straightening; Uni body machine; Welding and soldering; Metal cutting; Front end components; Body components; Doors and frame; Underbody components; Interior components
  • Review damage reports and plan work to be performed
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills
  • Weld replacement parts
  • Complete rust repairs
  • Repair or replace interior components
Qualifications
  • Credentials: Automotive Collision Technician Trade Certification
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
Skills
  • Specific Skills: Review damage reports, plan work to be performed, replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components, file, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired, hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers, remove damaged fenders, panels and grills, weld replacement parts, complete rust repairs, repair or replace interior components
  • Other Skills: Clean and maintain work space
