Job summary

Columbia Collisions Repairs Ltd. is seeking an automotive collision estimator to work on-site at our BC location.

You will estimate repair costs from examination reports, inspect repaired vehicles, and assist with replacing front end components, doors, frames, and underbody parts. The role involves removing damaged fenders and panels and welding in replacement parts, repairing or replacing windshields and sunroofs, and using soldering tools or plastic filler as needed.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in auto body repair or estimating.
• On-site work at the physical location; no remote option.

• Inspect repaired vehicles
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
• Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
