Job summary

Clutch in Mississauga is seeking an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our reconditioning facility. You will help ensure vehicles meet safety standards and are prepared for delivery, performing inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs.

You’ll work at a fast‑moving startup environment, earn $18.00–$27.00 per hour, 40 hours a week, with overtime as needed. Formal automotive training or certifications and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an automotive technician with diagnostics and repair.
• Experience with multiple brands (Domestic, Import, European).
• Detail-oriented with quality workmanship.
• Able to multitask in a busy shop environment.
• Proficient with tech tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections, including stationary checks and road tests.
• Diagnose and assess mechanical and safety issues, identifying necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Provide recommendations on repairs and best course of action based on inspection results.
• Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs, such as brake jobs, suspension work, tire services, battery replacement, fluid changes, etc.
