Overview

Arobas Personnel is looking for an Automation Specialist (IaC) for a contract with one of our clients located in Montreal.

Remote : Hybrid- 3 days/week on site

Responsibilities

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructures using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement and maintain automation solutions leveraging Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud environments.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enhance system interoperability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Apply Agile methodologies to deliver efficient, high-quality results across multiple projects.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• At least 5 years in senior system administration, identity management, or security roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Proficiency in Python for task automation.
• Strong experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Proven skills in API development and integration.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing AWS solutions.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery practices.
• Track record of success in large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects (enterprise, banking, or government sectors).
• Expertise with Active Directory (Kerberos/NTLM), Entra ID (SAML/OIDC, Graph API), Microsoft 365, and Azure-based solutions.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong familiarity with security tools (CyberArk, SailPoint, HashiCorp Vault, ForgeRock) and DLP solutions.
• Experience with VMware, Citrix, Commvault, and Windows Server hardening.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, and YAML-based automation.
