The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35.00 - $45.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Summary:

Responsible for integrating, installing, testing, and providing training and support (both remote and on-site) for various automated coding and printing systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Install, set up, and troubleshoot automated grade marking, coding, and printing systems.
  • Contribute to the development of new system concepts or the optimization and improvement of existing equipment.
  • Actively participate in tests according to customer project specifications using hand tools, power tools, or precision instruments.
  • Read and interpret engineered drawings and equipment specifications.
  • Perform project quality control checkout procedures and troubleshoot any issues identified.
  • Provide customer training upon completion of on-site commissioning.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and application issues on industrial machine lines.

Education:

Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Engineering Technologist, Trades certification or College equivalent

Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel to our onsite location: Signode Canada ULC, 16 Cleve Court, Halton Hills, Ontario, L7G 0L7, Ontario, Canada

Ability to travel to client sites in the US and throughout Quebec and Ontario 25-30%.

Experience:

  • Atleast5yearsofexperienceinautomationwithinmanufacturing/industrial.
  • MusthavepracticalworkingexperienceinPLCProgrammingLogic(AllenBradley).
  • Experiencewithcustomerserviceinthefieldandoverthephone.
  • Strongknowledgeofelectricalassembly,pneumatics,andPLCs.
