A technology services company is seeking an experienced Application Release Engineer (Automation) for a long-term project. This role primarily involves creating build and deployment automation to support ongoing code package deployments. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in a DevOps-related role and strong skills in Linux, SQL, and deployment automation tools. Applicants should be self-motivated with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. This position will require some on-site presence in Ontario.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in an Engineer/Developer or DevOps-related role.
• 5+ years’ experience with Linux operating systems, particularly Red Hat.
• Experience with deployment and configuration automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Create new build and deployment automation to support code package deployments.
• Perform change management and document knowledge and procedures.
• Manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
