Job Description

An automation machine builder assembles, commissions, and trouble shoots a variety of equipment including Special Machines, Secondary Equipment, Assembly Automation, Robotic Cells, in addition to other types of equipment.

Reporting to

Automation Machine Build Leader

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the execution of tasks as listed below to ensure our products meet or exceed quality standards.

• Strong mechanical / machine building aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerancing of components and machined parts
• Ability to communicate and follow direction
• Follow a machine from start to finish
• Other duties as required by the Machine Build Supervisor, General Manager or Select Tool Management
• General machinist capabilities (Bridgeport, Grinder, surface, ID / OD, Lathe, and a wide variety of hand tools (drills, grinders, etc.)
