Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a professional to identify and deliver automation opportunities using low-code/no-code tools. The role involves working closely with the Emerging Technologies team, leading the development and management of automated processes, and fostering relationships across business lines.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in a technology role, with expertise in programming, AI, and digital solutions, as well as an understanding of Agile practices.

This position offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $118,000 annually, alongside comprehensive health benefits and flexible working arrangements.

Job description

Position Overview

This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and delivering automation opportunities using low‑code / no‑code automation tools. The individual works with the Emerging Technologies team and internal stakeholders to promote a more digital internal culture. They act as a subject‑matter expert for Emerging Technologies on key projects, issue resolution, and processes within Fidelity Investment Canada, and represent the team in various working groups at Fidelity Investment and Fidelity International.

What You Will Do

• Lead the development, testing, and lifecycle management of automated processes that leverage Microsoft Power Automate and AI Builder.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities for the adoption of automation and AI/ML technologies.
• Build relationships with core business line leaders to deepen understanding of core business platforms and collaborate to integrate new automation and AI/ML offerings.

Qualifications

• Completed post‑secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.
• 2+ years’ experience in technology and design within an Agile environment.
• Experience with digital technology, relationship management, and market research.
• UX/UI design experience, project management or software development is an asset.

Skills Set You Bring

• Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Go, C, or experience developing applications with low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, RPA, SaaS and cloud‑based solutions.
• Product development: knowledge of rapid prototyping, agile product development, persona development, product positioning and requirements creation.
• Ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment and manage ambiguity while understanding potential risks.
• Experience sourcing and evaluating new product opportunities and conducting comparative research.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills within complex environments.

Total Rewards

Base salary and discretionary performance bonus: a competitive annual range of $90,000 to $118,000, based on experience and qualifications.
