In this role, you will provide support to our Sales, Design and Estimating Teams by serving local, regional, global and vertical market accounts with sales and administrative assistance. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
  • Prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation under general supervision of the Project Designer.
  • Prepare system as‑built drawings from onsite drawing mark‑ups under general supervision of the Project Designer.
  • Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permits.
  • Assemble operations and maintenance manuals and system documentation.
  • Review own drawings for quality and accuracy.
  • Print, run copies, distribute shop drawings/close‑out documents to different departments/clients as necessary.
  • Complete assigned drawings on time and on budget.
  • Assist colleagues with drafting support as requested or required.
  • Work closely with the Project Designer and/or Project Manager in assisting with any project drawing modifications.
  • Organize/maintain project folders and drawings.
What You’ll Need
  • Strong knowledge/expertise in the latest version of AutoCAD.
  • Background in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in Bluebeam and Revit is an asset.
  • Intermediate skills level in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
  • Intermediate knowledge level of electrical/electronic theory and components.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Technical skills and experience related to security systems – is an asset.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
