Job summary

Craftsman Collision Ltd. in Coquitlam, BC is seeking a full-time Autobody Technician to join our team at the Coquitlam location.

We offer a competitive hourly rate from $30 to $35, plus a signing bonus up to $10,000 or relocation assistance within Canada, and performance bonuses of $3 per hour. Requirements include at least 4 years of autobody experience, a valid Class 5 driver's license, proficiency in English, and Red Seal or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of autobody repair experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• English language proficiency.
• Red Seal certification or equivalent experience.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
• Clean and maintain work space.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
