Ens Collision Centre in Saskatoon is seeking an Auto Body Paint Technician to repair damaged vehicles to factory standards using paint systems, masking, and color-matching techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal trade qualification or five years of relevant experience, and will work with a safety-conscious, team-focused group to deliver high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Red seal trade qualified or relevant job experience (prefer five years).
• Match colours and mix paint according to specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding and masking.
• Apply undercoat, base coats, sealers, and clear coats.
• Clean and polish painted surfaces and perform paint corrections.

Ens Collision | Paint Technician | Opened on 09/03/2026 | Pay rate: $20-35 per hour

Ens Collision Centre is seeking an Auto Body Paint Technician to join our Collision repair team. The right candidate will have a Red Seal trade-qualified certification or relevant job experience of 5 years. You will play a crucial role in repairing damaged vehicles back to factory specifications as Saskatoon’s ONLY Toyota & Lexus Certified Collision repair facility.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Completion of repair assignments following company guidelines and supplier procedures to meet customer specifications.
• Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repairing and prepping of vehicles.
• Operate and use body shop equipment safely.
• Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Remove exterior trim and hardware.
• Remove sub-coatings.
• Match colours and ability to mix paint according to specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding and masking.
• Apply undercoat, gravel guard, primers, sealers, bases coats, tri-stage coats and clear coats.
• Clean and polish painted surfaces, including paint corrections, runs, de-nibbing and full surface polishing.
• Make a conscious effort to complete work according to the timelines, including arriving early or staying late to complete work/tasks as required.
• Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork.
• Ability to excel in a team-centric work environment.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.
• Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Red seal trade qualified or relevant job experience ( prefer five years or more ).
• Paint guns including Sealer, Primer, Base coat, and Clear coat.
• Professional demeanour and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, and using power and hand-held equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving history.
