Job summary

ONE Insurance seeks an Auto Insurance Advisor to counsel clients on Autopac and Driver Licensing products, warmly welcome customers, and tailor coverages to individual needs.

You will cross-sell auto extensions, support Personal Lines, and grow the book of business across Selkirk and surrounding communities, backed by our training and benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of insurance industry or comparable customer service experience preferred.
• Manitoba General Insurance License and IWS Certification are assets.
• Familiarity with Applied EPIC broker management system is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding and professional counsel to clients on Autopac and Driver Licensing products and coverages.
• Welcome customers in the branch and build solid rapport with existing, assigned and new clients.
• Cross-sell auto extension product options and other lines of business where appropriate.
• Support Personal Lines with processing and other duties as required.

This role is an important part of our ONE team because supporting clients in our surrounding communities is central to our success. Auto Advisor’s primary responsibility is to provide outstanding and professional counsel to our clients on their Autopac and Driver Licensing products and coverages. This begins with ensuring that all customers feel immediately welcomed in the branch. Building solid rapport with existing, assigned, and new clients I essential while providing coverage options that suit their individual needs. The successful candidate will also become familiar with ONE Insurance’s other lines of business in order to make clients aware of our wide variety of products and services.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Performance Objectives:

• Create an exceptional customer service experience for all clients
• Action all Auto Insurance transactions immediately in a professional and friendly manner and use the Prospector Program to generate leads with every transaction
• Follow the ONE Insurance’s Auto Customer Service Standards to ensure optimum coverage options are offered with every Autopac transaction
• Actively cross sell all auto extension product options available
• Provide support to Personal Lines with processing and other duties as required

Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum one (1) year of insurance industry or comparable customer service experience is preferred
• Manitoba General Insurance License and IWS Certification are not required but considered an asset
• Familiarity with Applied EPIC broker management system is considered an asset
• Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Valid driver's license and clear criminal record check required
