Job summary

Hansen's Releasing Company "HRC", a Canadian family company, is hiring multiple Auto Handlers in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves safe handling of new and used vehicles, railcar loading/unloading, and operating ramp equipment within an automotive shipping facility.

The position offers full-time hours, benefits after probation, a pay rate of $19.50 per hour, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should be able to meet physical requirements and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Must hold a full valid Driver’s License in the province of employment.
• Provide a reasonably clean Driver’s Abstract (driving record).
• Provide a clear criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a team to load/unload vehicles from railcars.
• Perform bridge plate handling and railcar access tasks.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and discrepancies prior to unloading.
• Move, secure, and release vehicles with proper wheel chocks and restraints.
• Shuttle vehicles within the yard and maintain awareness of safety procedures.
• Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety policies.
