Job summary

Intact is seeking Personal Lines auto claims adjusters who have passed the AMF exams or intend to do so. Location options include Montreal, Laval, Quebec City or Saint-Hyacinthe. Work schedule is 9 a.m.

to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (35 hours/week). You will open new claims, interview insureds or witnesses, determine coverage, analyze information, and settle claims with payments issued as appropriate. Bilingual English-French communication is required, with strong customer service skills and exam

Salary Range (but Not Limited To)

50,900 - 62,200

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About The Role

We’re looking for Personal Lines auto claims adjusters who have passed the AMF exams or intend to do so.

Location: Montreal (2020 boulevard Robert-Bourassa), Laval (600 rue Lucien-Paiement), Quebec City (5700 boulevard des Galeries) or Saint-Hyacinthe (2450 rue Girouard Ouest).

Work schedule: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday (35 hours/week)

What You’ll Do Here

What You Bring To The Table

What We’re Looking For

• Your excellent customer service skills will allow you to reassure and support your customers throughout the claims process.
• Your analytical skills will enable you to use your judgment and logic when evaluating claims files.
• You’re not afraid of using different computer systems to perform your tasks.
• You’re able to adapt to change in a constantly evolving environment.
• You are bilingual (English-French): You are able to interact with both French-speaking and English-speaking customers on a daily basis. Intermediate level English is required. You will regularly handle claims files from English-speaking customers. Advanced level English is required.
