Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Canada. The role focuses on high‑quality collision repair, disassembly/reassembly, and frame work within a professional team backed by The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an Auto Body Repair program required.
• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience.
• Welding experience MIG/TIG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels and disassembly/reassembly.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts and electrical components.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle.
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle.
• Use of frame equipment.
• Contribute to KPI performance (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
• Take responsibility for outcomes and seek learning opportunities.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan

• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle

• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding) Preferred Education and/or Experience Red Seal or 310B is preferred I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

Other Requirements

• You are able to lift up to 50 Lbs
• You have your own toolbox
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details

Hourly: $25 - $33 per hour, Flat Rate Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
