Job Description

The Auto Body Technician is responsible for structural and non‑structural repairs, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling each vehicle. The Technician works with team members to achieve the repair facility’s KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan
  • Repair damage to vehicle body panels
  • Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
  • Remove and install welded and sectioned parts
  • Assess and repair structural components
  • Use frame equipment
  • Apply new knowledge to maintain high quality and productivity, contributing to KPI’s
  • Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities
Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Post‑Secondary Auto Body Repair Program
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG)
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Red Seal or 310B preferred
  • I‑Car Registered (working toward Gold Class certification)
Other Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Own toolbox
  • Valid driver’s license required
Compensation

Hourly: $30 – $32 per hour, flat rate
