Toyota Northwest Edmonton is currently seeking a Licensed 310B Automotive Body Technician to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose / Summary of Position :

The Body Shop Technician is required to perform skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of vehicles. He / she restores damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, function, and appearance. He / she uses hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new parts. The Body Shop Technician works with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts. Damaged vehicles must be repaired correctly so they will perform as designed, especially in subsequent collisions. Work assignments will be received in the form of oral or written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs.

This role is responsible for following established processes and procedures for their role and achieving targeted goals and objectives. This role is responsible for ongoing collaboration with fellow team members; driving sales and improving efficiencies whenever possible.

Candidates must possess :
  • 310B Auto Body license or registered in the apprenticeship program
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Possess a valid drivers' license
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proven abilities in automotive body repairs
