Job summary

Assured Automotive in Canada is seeking an experienced Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while creating accurate repair estimates and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurance companies.

You will document vehicle damage, assemble parts replacement lists, and work with the team to meet KPIs. The role uses Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems, with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic collision repair environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with estimating software.
• 1 year minimum experience in DRP/auto estimating.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate estimates and coordinate repair needs with customers and insurers.
• Update ASE with details from every customer interaction.
• Guide customers through repairs and ensure excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and WOW procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings.
• Maintain KPIs for sales, GP, CSI, AR and cycle times.
• Prepare damage appraisals using Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems.

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Estimator's primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure ASE is updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details from every customer interaction
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily 'production walks' with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
• Maintain the Assured KPIs by maximizing role performance (Sales/ GP/ NP/ CSI/ AR/ CT&TT)

• Creating estimates in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems following the latest guidelines and OEM repair procedures

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP's Minimum of 1-year experience

Compensation Details:

Compensation:

$55,600 - $85,000 per year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
