Job summary

Kerry’s Place Autism Services is seeking an Autism Support Assistant (Supported Living) in Toronto to help enhance quality of life for people with Autism. You will support individuals in daily living, follow care plans, and document outcomes under supervision.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, flexibility and a person-centered approach, with training provided. A valid driver's license may be needed for travel; opportunities for growth exist within a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills both oral and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Demonstrated flexibility, creativity and sound judgment.
• Self motivated and demonstrated ability to motivate others.
• French language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living supports to people with Autism to enhance quality of life.
• Follow Health and Safety and Abuse Prevention policies and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Develop positive relationships with families, volunteers and professionals.
