Job summary

ErinoakKids is seeking a Program Support Facilitator to join our in-centre teams at the Brampton site. The role blends behavioural intervention and respite services for children and young adults with autism and complex medical or behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will support therapists, prepare meals, assist with daily activities, and contribute to progress documentation within a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Must have or be working towards a relevant child/youth worker credential and/or related education.
• Experience with children/young adults with autism or developmental needs.
• Experience with challenging behaviors and medical needs.
• CPR/First Aid and vulnerable sector screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of behavioural intervention strategies for young children with autism.
• Assist with activities of daily living, personal care, feeding, and mobility.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate leisure activities for clients.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment to promote social and communication development.
• Provide care and supervision in therapeutic and respite settings.
