Job summary

A leading health services provider in London, Ontario is seeking full-time Instructor Therapists for Autism & Behavioural Services. Responsibilities include providing ABA treatment and training to caregivers. Candidates must have relevant diplomas, experience with children with Autism, and strong communication skills. Salary ranges from $28.35 to $30.65, with a requirement for flexible scheduling including evening work.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with Autism and knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
• Understanding of child development and comfort in engaging with young children and teens.
• Current certification in First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA treatment and support services to children and youth with ASD.
• Contribute to treatment planning and prepare treatment material for clients.
• Collect data and participate in the evaluation of efficacy of teaching.
• Provide education and training to parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Skills

Experience working with children with Autism

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to adapt to change quickly

Strong computer skills including MS Office 365

Education

College diploma or undergraduate degree in a related field

Autism and Behavioural Sciences Graduate Certificate, Registered Behavior Technician®
