Job summary

RSM Canada, a leading provider of professional services to the middle market, invites you to join our audit team. You’ll understand clients' needs, assess risks, and support financial statement drafting under prescribed formats.

The role requires progressing toward a BA/BS in accounting, 90 credit hours completed, and willingness to travel to client locations with reliable transportation. We offer a flexible schedule and a competitive total rewards program.

• Developing understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
• Assessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structure.
• Performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Drafting financial statements under prescribed formats.

• Drafting financial statements under prescribed formats

Required Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed
• Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university
• Accounting Major
• Travel to assigned client locations is required.
• Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum 3.0 GPA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively on a team
• Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $50,160 - $59,850
