Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking an Audit Analytics lead to advance analytics within the ARCC department. You will lead analytics, organize datasets, and present insights to support control improvements across the organization.

You will collaborate with internal clients, ensure adherence to IIA standards, and drive the development of repeatable analytical models for audit engagements. This role emphasizes data-driven risk assessment and proactive controls enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, objective assessments of the adequacy and effectiveness of management's processes to identify and mitigate significant risks across Metrolinx in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and the Internal Audit Charter.
• Lead the Audit Analytics function within the Audit Regulatory Compliance and Control (ARCC) department to organize, review, and present insights on available datasets within the internal audit framework.
• Support the establishment of repeatable analytical models and approaches for audit engagements in coordination with audit managers; work with other ARCC functions to further the use of data and analytics; enhance the value of analytics deliverables and the insights provided by the work.
• Collaborate with existing client groups within Metrolinx to leverage audit analytics into control monitoring and improvements.

Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system.
