Job summary

A prominent hearing healthcare organization in Cape Breton is seeking a dedicated audiologist to join their team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, provide recommendations for assistive listening devices, and dispense hearing instruments. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Audiology and be registered with the provincial college. We offer competitive compensation, generous paid time off, and ongoing training. • Cerumen management (if within scope of practice).
• Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation.
• Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable).

Primary Responsibilities

• Complete audiological assessments
• Assistive Listening Device recommendations
• Hearing instrument evaluations
• Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing
• Regular client follow-up and hearing instrument rechecks
• Cerumen management (if within scope of practice)
• Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation
• Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable)

In addition to hands-on care, you’ll have opportunities to mentor students and new staff, stay on top of professional credentials and continued education, and engage with the community through presentations and marketing initiatives.
