Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a Senior Clinical Audiologist at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina. The role involves diagnostic procedures for patients with auditory disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings, plus active participation in newborn hearing screening and the Saskatchewan Cochlear Implant Program.

The Senior Audiologist will take on administrative, teaching and research duties as time permits and will work under the Hearing Health department, supporting day, night,

Qualifications

  • Experience in auditory processing and cochlear implant assessment/rehab.
  • 2+ years clinical experience in diagnosing audiology: behavioral, objective and vestibular evals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures for patients with auditory disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Contribute to universal newborn hearing screening services and cochlear implant program involvement.

Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Hearing Health Services, the Senior Clinical Audiologist performs current and comprehensive diagnostic procedures for patients with auditory disorders on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The position also involves an active role in the management of universal newborn hearing screening services and involvement in the Saskatchewan Cochlear Implant Program. The senior clinical audiologist also assumes administrative, teaching and research duties as time permits. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
