Job summary

Lake Huron Audiology in Kincardine, Ontario is seeking a qualified Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our private clinic. The role involves assessing hearing needs, fitting and servicing hearing aids, counseling patients and families, and maintaining accurate records.

You will collaborate with healthcare colleagues in a patient‑centered environment and support ongoing product training. Full-time, Monday to Friday, with health benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a recognized Hearing Instrument program or a Master’s degree in Audiology.
• Licensed and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial body (ADP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to counsel patients effectively.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a diploma from a recognized Hearing Instrument program or a Master’s degree in Audiology. You must be registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body as well as ADP. You should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with patients and counsel according to their specific needs.

Other essential skills and qualifications include analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong follow-through skills, and a caring and compassionate customer approach. You should also be adaptable and organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

1-3 years of experience would be preferred but will consider new graduates.
